The 10th episode of the TV drama "Light of My Lion" (TBS, Friday 10pm) starring actor Yuya Yagira was broadcast on December 13th. The development surrounding Hiroto (Yagira) at the end of the episode became a hot topic on social media.
◇The following contains spoilers
Hiroto succeeds in getting Lion (Tasuku Sato) back from Shogo (Osamu Mukai). Hiroto smiles when he sees Michito (Ryota Bando) looking happy to spend time with Lion after a long time. Meanwhile, Manami (Ono Machiko), who has been discharged from the hospital, comes to Hiroto's house.
Everyone gathered around the crab that Torakichi (Denden) had brought to celebrate Aio's recovery. Seeing the lion happily eating the crab, Aio blurted out, "Is it okay to be this happy?" Torakichi cheered her on, saying, "What are you talking about? You've been through a lot up until now. I hope you'll be happy in return."
Afterwards, Hiroto was able to join Mio (Asuka Saito) and the others for a drinking party. "It's been a while since I've been out drinking, so I'm not sure what to do," he said. The next day, Hiroto woke up just after 1pm and looked around his neatly organized room. Then, he slurped down a cup of ramen by himself.
At the end of the story, Hiroto disappears, and social media was filled with comments such as, "A life with the lions who were happy to welcome him. Draft beer at the izakaya. Waking up at 1pm. Slurping down cup ramen alone. It's just an ordinary day, but even though his family has grown, Hiroto feels so lonely for him and it makes my heart uneasy," and "The scene where he wakes up in the afternoon and eats cup ramen in his tidy house, that back was a great shot. What happened to Hiroto?"
Comments included, "When I saw Hiroto eating cup noodles, tears started to come to my eyes," "I cried when I saw Hiroto eating cup noodles. It's scary when you're suddenly given freedom...," "Hiroto thought he was supporting Mikkun, but in fact he was being supported by their daily routine, and perhaps he began to question the meaning of his existence when he realized that life had managed to get by without him having to do everything," and "The fact that when he's alone, his meal is cup noodles was strangely realistic."
