It was announced on December 15th that a second season of the TV anime "Skeleton Knight in Another World," based on the light novel by Hasenuki of Overlap Novels (Overlap), will be produced. A teaser visual for the second season was released, depicting the skeleton knights Arc and Ponta standing in the dark night.
This was announced at the event "10th Anniversary Memorial Fest! Overlap Bunko All-Star Gathering SP ~Night Dream Fest~" held on December 15th.
The story is about Ark waking up in a different world, where he has become a skeleton knight, the game character he used in a massively multiplayer online (MMO) RPG. He tries to enjoy the other world without attracting attention, but he cannot overlook the evil in front of him and inadvertently reforms the world on his journey. The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2022.
