It has been announced that the popular novel "Welcome to the Exiles' Diner!", which originated from the novel submission website "Shosetsuka ni Naro a Novelist", will be made into a TV anime in 2025. A teaser visual has also been released, depicting the diner's owner, Dennis, who serves food to adventurers who visit, and the beautiful waitress, Atelier, who brings fried rice.
"Welcome to the Exiles' Diner!" is a popular work that began serialization on "Shosetsuka ni Naro" in 2018, was published as a book in 2019, and was made into a comic book in 2020. The series has sold over 850,000 copies in total. This "new gourmet fantasy set in another world" is set in an adventurer's diner opened by Dennis, a chef who was expelled from the strongest guild, and a beautiful former slave named Atelier, where they build bonds with the eccentric adventurers who visit through cooking.
Original author Kimikawa Yuki commented, "It was made into an anime thanks to all the readers, Gaou-sensei for the book illustrator, Tsumumi-sensei for the comic, and all the editors and other people involved. The anime staff also have a deep understanding of the work, and I am very grateful. I am really looking forward to seeing the finished product!"
Illustrations drawn by Gaou, the original character designer, and Tsumumi, who is in charge of the comic adaptation, were also released.
