It has been announced that a new original video animation (OVA) based on the anime "KonoSuba: God's Blessing on this Wonderful World!" (KonoSuba), based on Natsume Akatsuki's light novel, "KonoSuba: God's Blessing on this Wonderful World! 3 -BONUS STAGE-" will be screened in theaters from March 14, 2025. The screening will be limited to two weeks. The new work will be a double feature of episodes not aired on TV, "Red Stream Explosion!" and "Beware of Fakes!". The Blu-ray and DVD will be released on April 25, 2025.
In the new OVA "Red Stream Explosion!", Megumin's explosive magic is needed to face the typhoon approaching the city of Axel, and Yunyun and Wiz join in. In "Beware of Fakes!", they meet a man who is looking for an adventurer named "Sato Kazuma", and when Kazuma tells them the legend of "Sato Kazuma", the man and the three female adventurers in his party are moved to tears.
"KonoSuba" is an adventure fantasy about a young man named Satou Kazuma, who loves video games, who dies in an accident and is reincarnated in another world, where he embarks on an adventure full of troubles with goddesses. The first season of the TV anime aired from January to March 2016, the second season from January to March 2017, and the third season from April to June this year.
