It has been revealed that "Hell Mode: A Gamer Who Loves to Play Hard Becomes Unrivaled in an Abandoned Otherworld," a popular light novel comic adaptation from the novel submission site "Let's Become a Novelist," will be made into a TV anime. The popular comic adaptation is currently being serialized in "Comic Earth Star" (Earth Star Entertainment), and the series has sold over 1.6 million copies in total. Details about the anime will be announced in the future.
The story is about Kenichi, a hardcore online gamer, who selects the highest difficulty level, "Hell Mode," on the difficulty setting screen of a mysterious online game, and ends up being reincarnated as a serf in another world... Kenichi, who has been reincarnated as a boy named Allen, begins to feel his way to becoming the strongest in a different world without strategy guides or online bulletin boards.
