It has been announced that the TV anime "Dandadan" based on the popular manga by Ryu Yukinobu, currently being serialized on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump +", will be broadcast on ABEMA from 8:30 pm on December 7th. Shion Wakayama, who plays Momo, Natsuki Hanae, who plays Okarun, Aila, and Mayumi Tanaka, who plays Turbo Babaa, will appear on the program. Episodes 1 to 9 will be available for free on ABEMA for a limited time until December 8th. A cut from episode 10, "Did You See the Cattle Mutilation?" was also released. Momo, Okarun, and Aila are attacked by aliens, but they work together to get through, but the Dover Demon they thought they had defeated appears in front of them... Just when they thought they were going to have a rematch, the Dover Demon runs out of strength and collapses. Momo and the others decide not to abandon him, so they take him home and treat him, whereupon Dover Demon confides in them a problem. "Dandadan" began serialization in "Shonen Jump+" in April 2021. It depicts Momo, a high school girl from a family of spiritualists, and her classmate Okarun, an occult fanatic, as they face one strange phenomenon after another. The comics have sold over 4 million copies in total. The anime is currently airing on the late-night anime slot "Super Animeism TURBO" on MBS and TBS.
