It was revealed on December 2nd that the weekly average viewership rating (households) for the 9th week of "What is Support?" (November 25th to 29th), the NHK morning drama series "Omusubi" starring Kanna Hashimoto (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00am, etc.), was 13.3% (based on Video Research, Kanto region). The household viewership rating for the 9th week was 13.2% for the 41st episode, 13.4% for the 42nd episode, 13.5% for the 43rd episode, 13.1% for the 44th episode, and 13.4% for the 45th episode. "Omusubi" is a "Heisei youth graffiti" in which the heroine, born in 1989, connects people's hearts and futures as a nutritionist, with the "gal spirit" of valuing her own individuality at all times. In the ninth week, Yui (Hashimoto) makes a menu for Shoya (Sano Hayato), but Sawada (Sekiguchi Mandy), a senior pitcher, tells Shoya that "there's not enough." Though he thinks so in his heart, Shoya tries to keep quiet about it to Yui. Eventually, Yui realizes that she doesn't understand the person she is supporting. Her classmate Sachi (Yamamoto Maika) reaches out to help her. Meanwhile, Ayumu (Naka Riisa), who hasn't been seen for a while since leaving the Yoneda family, suddenly appears. Ayumu visits the grave of his best friend Maki, who died in the earthquake, and there he meets Maki's father, Watanabe Takao (Ogata Naoto), but Takao tells him not to come there again...
