Kanna Hashimoto stars in the NHK morning drama "Omusubi" (General TV, Monday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. and others). The 10th week, "It's Okay to Be Different," will begin on December 2nd. Yui (Hashimoto) is asked by Wakabayashi (Shinya Niiro), a Kobe city employee, to help with the soup kitchen for children's disaster prevention training. After consulting with Sakuraba-sensei (Saki Aibu) from a vocational school, she decides to come up with a menu for the soup kitchen in class. However, Yui doesn't know what to make in the event of a disaster, so she talks to Misae (Midoriko Kimura) and others from the shopping district who experienced the evacuation life during the earthquake, and learns about the tragedy of that time. Meanwhile, Shoya (Hayato Sano), who is working hard in amateur baseball, falls into a slump. "Omusubi" is a "Heisei youth graffiti" in which the heroine, born in 1989, connects people's hearts and futures as a nutritionist with her "gal spirit" that values her individuality at all times. The film is an original work by screenwriter Nemoto Nonji, who is known for works such as the NHK drama "Honest Real Estate."
