It has been revealed that Inoue Sato's popular manga "10DANCE," which is based on competitive dancing, will be adapted into a live-action Netflix movie. The popular work, which won second place in the "This BL is Awesome! 2019" ranking, depicts the passion and love that two men have for dance: Suzuki Shinya, the Japanese Latin dance champion, and Sugiki Shinya, the Japanese standard dance champion. The live-action version will be co-starred by actors Ryoma Takeuchi and Keita Machida. This will be the first time that Takeuchi and Machida have acted together in a film. The film will be directed by Otomo Keishi, who has worked on the "Rurouni Kenshin" series and "Legend & Butterfly."
This is Takeuchi's first time participating in a Netflix production, and he will play the main character Suzuki Shinya, a Japanese Latin dance champion with the ability to compete on the world stage, but who is obsessed with domestic competitions for a certain reason, and will be trying ballroom dancing for the first time. Machida will play the other main character, Sugiki Shinya, the Japanese standard dance champion and world number two.
