It has been announced that singer Shizuka Kudo will be appearing as a voice actor in the popular TV anime "Ojarumaru" (Monday to Thursday 6:40 am and 5:00 pm), which has been broadcast on NHK Educational TV since 1998. Kudo will appear as herself, Shizuka-sama, in the episode "Paripi Ojaru" that will air on December 4th. In the episode, Shizuka-sama will appear at a club in Gekkou-cho.
Kudo performed the ending theme "Maru" for the 27th series, and in the ending video, she appears as an anime character.
Kudo commented, "I was very happy to be asked to be a voice actor as well, since I was in charge of the ending theme. I felt a little embarrassed to be playing myself, but the production team was very warm and it was a valuable experience that has become a precious memory. I hope you will look forward to seeing how the cutely drawn "Shizuka-sama" will appear. I am also looking forward to seeing it on air!"
