Episode 1143, "The Ranpo House Murder Case (Part 2)," a collaboration between Edogawa Conan, the protagonist of the TV anime "Detective Conan" (Yomiuri TV/Nippon TV, Saturday 6pm), based on the popular manga by Aoyama Gosho, and author Edogawa Ranpo, will be broadcast on November 23rd.
Edogawa Ranpo is the author from whom Edogawa Conan is named, and the collaboration is to commemorate his 130th birthday this year. The screenplay for "The Ranpo House Murder Case" will be written by Okura Takahiro, who also wrote the screenplays for the films "Detective Conan: The Million Dollar Star," "Detective Conan: Crimson Love Letter," "Detective Conan: The Fist of Blue Sapphire," and "Detective Conan: Halloween's Bride."
A series of murders occur at the former Edogawa Ranpo House, where Conan, the Detective Boys, and Kobayashi sensei visit. All of the victims were members of the Ranpo Society, and the remaining Ranpo Society member was the suspect and held the key to the case. Conan and the Detective Boys deduced that the case is not over yet, so they rushed to solve it and prevent any new crimes from being committed. However, the criminal's plan was already moving towards his next target.
