The eighth episode of "New Prince of Tennis U-17 WORLD CUP SEMIFINAL," a sequel to the TV anime "New Prince of Tennis U-17 WORLD CUP," based on Konomi Takeshi's popular tennis manga "New Prince of Tennis," entitled "Spain Representative, Echizen Ryoga," will be broadcast on TV Tokyo and other networks on November 20th.
In another block of the semifinals, America's representative Ralph is being pushed into a corner by Ryoga, who now represents Spain, in a one-sided match. Ryoga's technique is to "devour the tennis ability of his opponent." Ryoga weakens Ralph's tennis, and Spain advances to the finals. The D1 (doubles swan) match between Japan and Germany, between the Kirihara & Tanegashima pair and the Bismarck & Siegfried pair, begins.
"The Prince of Tennis" is a manga that was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) from 1999 to 2008. A new series, "The New Prince of Tennis", has been serialized in "Jump SQ." (Shueisha) since 2009. The TV anime "SEMIFINAL" depicts the battle between Japan and Germany in the U-17 World Cup semi-finals.
