The official trailer for the pre-release movie "Sapporo Beer Factory Arc," which serves as the prologue to the final chapter of the TV anime "Golden Kamuy," based on Satoru Noda's manga, has been released. The movie will be released in two parts, the first and second parts, ahead of its TV broadcast starting in January 2026. The first part will be released on October 10th, and the second part on October 31st.
The video features Saichi Sugimoto, Asirpa, Lieutenant Tsurumi, Hijikata Toshizo, and others, as well as a battle scene. The theme song, "Beyond the Golden Sky," by ALI, a solo project by rapper Awich and singer-songwriter LEO, was also unveiled.
Awich commented, "Golden Kamuy depicts the chain of life, prayers and betrayals, bonds and determination. I am proud to have been able to turn this story into a song with ALI. I feel that the Ainu are similar to Okinawans, and I wrote 'Beyond the Gold' while sensing a resonance with the souls of those who have lived with the earth and protected their culture despite being oppressed at times. This is a hymn to those who fight to the end. I wrote it with respect for all the moments leading up to the final act. I hope that this song, along with the story, will be etched in your memory."
ALI said, "I was truly amazed and grateful to be asked to participate in this project. I created the fourth season's opening theme, "NEVER SAY GOODBYE feat. Mummy-D," with the intention of putting all of my feelings for Golden Kamuy Kamuy into it, so with this work I took it a step further, and approached it with the desire to go even deeper and convey my love. I am truly happy that together with Awich, Chaki Zulu, and my partner Ryo'LEFTY'Miyata, who I also worked with on the previous work, we were able to reach views that I would never have seen or could have seen on my own, all with 100% pure love for this work. What will you find in the final chapter of the story, beyond the gold? Long live Golden Kamuy! Long live music!!!"
