It has been announced that a fourth series of the TV anime "Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun," based on the manga by Nishi Osamu currently being serialized in "Weekly Shonen Champion" (Akita Shoten), will be produced. The announcement was made at the event "Anime 'Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun' Special Event DEVIL'S PARTY!" held on November 17th at the Bunkyo Civic Hall Large Hall (Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo).
A teaser visual and special video for the fourth series were also released. The teaser visual shows the main character, Suzuki Iruma, searching for someone on a rooftop at dusk, and the 13th classmate, Pursong Soi, who is the last demon in the problem child (abnormal) class, finally making his appearance.
"Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun" is a school comedy about a boy, Suzuki Iruma, who was sold to a demon by his parents for his own selfish reasons, enrolling in a school in the demon world and living his school life while hiding the fact that he is human. The series began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Champion" in 2017. The comic has sold over 16 million copies in total.
The first series of the TV anime was broadcast on NHK Educational TV from October 2019 to March 2020, the second series from April to September 2021, and the third series from October 2022 to March 2023.
