The synopsis for episode 5 (to be broadcast on August 17th) of Sunday Theatre's " The 19th medical record " (Sunday 9pm) starring Jun Matsumoto has been released. Actress Asaka Mayumi will play the mother of Chayazaka Kokoro, played by First Summer Uika.
The drama is based on the manga " The 19th medical record Tokushige's Medical Interview" by Katsuhito Fujiya. It depicts a general practitioner who not only treats illnesses but also lends a hand to patients' lifestyles. This is Matsumoto's first time playing a doctor, and the cast also includes Fuka Koshiba and Mackenyu. The script is written by Aya Tsubota, who has also written the "Kounodori" series (same channel).

Cardiovascular surgeon Chayazaka Shin (First Summer Uika) is a star doctor at Uotora General Hospital with outstanding surgical skills and a brilliant career. However, her true identity is shrouded in mystery, and no one knows anything about her private life.
Recently, she has noticed a change in the atmosphere inside the hospital. After learning about a certain past of Tokushige (Jun Matsumoto), who is at the center of these "changes," Chayazaka turns her interest and pursuit towards Tokushige as if hunting prey.
