It has been revealed that Mori Kasumi, known as the "Reiwa era's queen of cunning," will star in a one-night-only short drama, "Shiori-chan, tell me your heart's voice" (TV Asahi). The drama is based on a "phantom project" that Suzuki Osamu, who retired from his job as a screenwriter and television writer at the end of March this year, wrote and saved while he was still active. The exact same short drama will be aired twice, and it will be a new type of drama that realistically depicts the pretense and true feelings of a "cunning woman."
First, the "front" version, which appears to be a heartwarming story, will be aired, and then the "back" version, which includes the same footage and the protagonist's inner thoughts, will be aired. The "front" version will reveal the truth about the protagonist's thoughts and the meaning of her expressions, which were not clear in the "front" version, and even though you are watching the same footage, you will witness the exact opposite ending the second time.
The drama is made up of three parts: "Breakup with current boyfriend," "Surprise for boss," and "Tragedy that occurred at home drinking with a man you like." Mori plays the main character Shiori, who is a refreshingly cunning woman in all three works. With her passionate performance as the "Reiwa era's cunning queen," she embodies the idea that what people say and what they think are not always the same, and their true feelings.
The director is Takaoki Kakihara, who has worked on many variety shows such as "Can I do it for 100,000 yen?" and "Goodbye My Favorite Store," and who Suzuki also praises as "a young and talented person who will support TV Asahi in the future." In addition, the navigator will be a character created by art director Ryo Fujii, who has worked on NHK's special effects show "TAROMAN."
"Shiori-chan, Kikaseteyo" will air from 11:15 pm to 12:15 am on December 13th.

This drama is a love story, but the same story will be broadcast twice. If you watch the "behind the scenes" of the second episode, it will be quite interesting...! The "behind the scenes" contains the inner thoughts of Shiori, the character I play, and when you watch it, it's a completely different story from the first "front" episode. I hope you enjoy the difference.
If you're a woman, you might sympathize with some parts and think, "Oh, that's what I'm thinking! I get it!", and you might find some parts amusing and think, "I don't think that!", so I hope you enjoy that too. Please enjoy Shiori's "front" and "back".
