Esplanade, which operates the concept cafe "Bisquedoll," will open a new store, "Bisquedoll OSAKA," in Dotonbori, Osaka on November 16. The store's concept is "dress-up dolls (cosplayers)," and it opened in Shinjuku, Tokyo in December 2022. Its unique space design, in which cosplayers dress up as dolls, and its original menu have been gaining popularity, and this is the first time it has opened in the Kansai region.
A press conference was held at Akasaka Prince Classic House (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) on November 13, where owner Tyrol explained about the new store, "The interior and uniforms are almost the same so that people in Osaka can also enjoy Bisquedoll." The new store will employ new cast members, and he expressed confidence, saying, "There are many cosplayers. All of the girls are so talkative that you would never expect them to talk even at the interview stage. They already have the talking skills."
She said she aims to create a store that is unique to Osaka, and said, "I hope we can bring out that Osaka feel. I want as many people as possible to know the charms of Bisquedoll."
Also appearing at the press conference were mona from sister store Rozengarden, Takamine Hina, producer and designer of apparel brand HIDOLATRAL THEODOL which designs the uniforms, Shirata Mai who has been involved as a model and producer since before the first store opened, Tohri, CEO of BiBi Design, a graphic design and creative agency specializing in concept cafes, hairdresser and cosplayer KURU who is in charge of hair and makeup, and installation artist SAKU who runs the studio A Little Duller Than Seven Colors and is in charge of spatial design such as photo booths. They spoke about the store's operations, interior design, uniforms, and other details.
