"Omusubi" (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8am and others) is the NHK morning drama series starring Hashimoto Kanna. The seventh week, "Omusubi Falls in Love", begins on November 11th.
Yui (Hashimoto) has been at odds with Ayumu (Naka Riisa), who has been at odds with her family since losing her best friend in the earthquake, and is trying to have fun again as a gal.
Meanwhile, Yui wants to show her gratitude to Shoya (Sano Hayato), who helped her when she was feeling unwell. Shoya tells her he wants to improve his stamina, so she works hard to make a lunch box to give to Shoya, with the help of Aiko (Aso Kumiko) and Kayo (Miyazaki Yoshiko).
However, she faces unexpected opposition and is disheartened, but her heart flutters when Shoya says something to her.
"Omusubi" is a "Heisei youth graffiti" about a heroine born in 1989 who, with a "gal spirit" that values being true to herself at all times, connects people's hearts and futures as a nutritionist. It is an original work by screenwriter Nemoto Nonji, known for NHK's drama "Shojiki Real Estate," among others.
