The popular manga "Inheritance Detective" by Yumie Nishiogi is being made into a TV series

It has been revealed that the popular manga "Heiroku Tantei," written by screenwriter Nishiogi Yumie, who has worked on the "SPEC" series, will be adapted into a TV drama and broadcast as a serial drama on Nippon Television in January 2025. The lead actor has not been disclosed, and a special visual was released in which his face is hidden by a will.

"Heiroku Tantei" is based on a story by Nishiogi and illustrated by Ikuta Yo, and has been serialized in the manga magazine "Evening" (Kodansha) since 2021. The protagonist, Haie Nao, a detective who specializes in inheritance-related troubles, uses his high intelligence as a weapon to tackle complex inheritance issues in cooperation with his unique companions. The highlight of the story is the development of the story, in which he respects the wishes of the deceased and uses brilliant reasoning to refreshingly unravel the family conflicts and hidden truths surrounding the inheritance.

The series will begin broadcasting in January 2025, and the broadcast time slot will be announced at a later date. The lead actor's face is hidden in the special visual released this time, but his true identity will be revealed on November 12th.
