As part of the 10th anniversary project of the robot anime "Captain Earth," which aired from April to September 2014, it has been announced that all 25 episodes will be made available for free on YouTube. Episodes 1 to 12 will be released at 6 PM on November 11, and episodes 13 to 25 will be released at 6 PM on December 10.
The original jacket for the Blu-ray Disc (BD) box "Captain Earth Memorial Blu-ray Box," which will be released on January 29, 2025, has also been revealed. It will feature an original illustration by character designer Fumi Mikanagi.
"Captain Earth" depicts four boys and girls, centered around the protagonist Daichi Manatsu, confronting a threat from space called Quiltgang on the island of Tanegashima. It is directed by Takuya Igarashi and written by Youji Enokido. It was produced by Bones. Voice actors include Irino Miyu, Kamiya Hiroshi, Kayano Ai, Hidaka Rina, and Koyama Rikiya.
