The fourth episode of the latest season of the popular detective drama "AIBO Season 23" (TV Asahi, Wednesdays at 9pm) titled "Two Faces" will air on November 6th. Makiya Yamaguchi will guest star.
Two bodies were found in an abandoned building. One was an elderly male building manager. The cause of death was apparently heart failure. The other was a middle-aged man named Kano (Yamaguchi) with multiple criminal records. The cause of death was strangulation. The police begin an investigation, suspecting that the body had been the result of a rift between the gang or an attempt to silence the suspect.
For some reason, glowing mushrooms were growing on Kano's back and on the floor around him. Ukyo (Mizutani Yutaka) is intrigued and begins to take action with Kaoru (Terawaki Yasufumi).
Looking for clues, the two speak to a leading expert on mushrooms and a scientist specializing in environmental protection. It turns out that the mushrooms are a rare variety that has attracted worldwide attention and have the potential to generate huge profits. They also learn that Kano has founded an environmental protection organization. According to the telephone operator Aiba (played by Nakao Masaki), Kano seems to have a hidden side. In the trailer, Ukyo appears unconscious in bed.
The screenplay is by Morishita Nao and the director is Morishita Toshiyuki.
