Psychiatrist Hideki Wada will appear on Tetsuko Kuroyanagi's long-running talk show "Tetsuko's Room" (TV Asahi), which will air from 1:00 pm on November 4th. Wada, a psychiatrist specializing in geriatrics and author of "The Wall of 80" (Gentosha Shinsho), which was the number one best-seller of the year in 2022, will offer tips on how to "live an old age without regrets."
Wada graduated from the University of Tokyo's Faculty of Medicine and has been involved in geriatric medicine for over 30 years, treating over 6,000 patients. Having worked with many elderly people, Wada feels that there are many people who regret their lives. These regrets can be broadly divided into "money," "doctors," and "human relationships."
Wada, who has seen people regretting that "I should have done what I wanted to do instead of holding back," says that he himself lives as he pleases. Wada will reveal tips on how to be happy, saying, "The older you get, the happier you are."
