It has been announced that the "Expelled from Paradise Memorial Book" will be distributed as a gift to moviegoers from November 15th at the revival screening of the animated film "Expelled from Paradise," which was released in November 2014. The booklet features an illustration of Angela Balzac on the cover by character designer Saito Masashi, and will contain information and messages from the main staff and cast.
It was also announced that to commemorate the revival screening, a stage greeting will be held on November 16th and 17th at Shinjuku Wald 9 (Shinjuku, Tokyo) with staff and cast members. On November 16th, Rie Kugimiya, who plays Angela, Shinichiro Miki, who plays Dingo, and director Seiji Mizushima will be appearing, and on November 17th, director Mizushima, screenwriter Gen Urobuchi, character designer Saito, producer Koichi Noguchi, and creators Iyo Matsumoto, who graduated from Tokyo University of the Arts, Kohei Nagasaka, and Yuta Masuda will be appearing.
The film will be shown for a limited two-week revival screening starting November 15th at 34 cinemas nationwide. To coincide with the revival screening, the entire film has been upconverted to 4K.
"Expelled from Paradise" is an original anime set in a world where most of humanity lives in the cyber world of Diva, and follows investigator Angela as she investigates the purpose of a mysterious hacking incident. Mizushima, who has worked on "Mobile Suit Gundam 00" and other works, directed the film, and Urobuchi, who has worked on "Puella Magi Madoka Magica" and "Fate/Zero," wrote the script.
It has also been announced that a sequel, a completely new animated film called "Expelled from Paradise: Resonance of the Heart" will be produced.
