Yui (Hashimoto) will be performing parapara dance at the Itoshima Festival, and her grandfather Nagayoshi (Matsudaira Ken) plans to perform magic at the festival, and asks Ayumu (Naka Riisa) to be his assistant.
However, Ayumu has already left the Yoneda family and is confronting Asuka (Teramoto Rio), who was in a rival group in Tenjin when she was young. Meanwhile, Yui is unable to accept Ayumu and is reminiscing about her childhood in Kobe.
"Omusubi" is a "Heisei youth graffiti" in which the heroine, born in 1989, connects people's hearts and futures as a nutritionist, with her "gal spirit" that values her individuality at all times. It is an original work by screenwriter Nemoto Nonji, who is known for his work on the NHK drama "Honest Real Estate."
