An additional lineup of works has been announced for MBS's anime event "MBS Anime Fest 2025," which will be held for the first time in about seven years, and it has been revealed that "Dandadan" and "Shangri-La Frontier" will be on stage. On the first day, January 18, 2025, "Shangri-La Frontier," "Jujutsu Kaisen," and "WIND BREAKER" will be on stage, and on the second day, January 19, "Dandadan," "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch of Mercury," and "Tokyo Revengers" will be on stage. A total of 27 impressive voice actors will appear over the two days.
"MBS Anime Fest 2025" will be held on January 18 and 19, 2025 at Kobe World Memorial Hall (Chuo-ku, Kobe). This will be the first time the event will be held over two days in about seven years since 2018.
"MBS Anime Fest" is an anime event consisting of "famous anime scenes," "live dubbing," and "live theme songs" with the concept of "a one-of-a-kind anime event that can only be seen at this very moment, and will remain in your memory only!" It was born in 2005 as an outdoor festival in the Nishinomaru Garden of Osaka Castle. It was held for the first time in about 10 years in 2014, and has been held five times since then, in 2015, 2017, and 2018. As with previous years, the entire event will not be streamed or released on Blu-ray disc.
