TV Asahi's monthly variety slot "Barabara Monthly" (Monday to Thursday at 2:54am, excluding some regions) has announced its October lineup, with the episode "If You Leave a Voice Actor's Wife Alone... She Was Doing XX While Reading Manga" starting on Wednesday. This unprecedented variety show will take a peek at what kind of conversations will emerge if married female voice actors, the "voice actor's wives," are left alone in the studio. Three married voice actors, Makino Yui, Ozaki Yuka, and Kurosawa Tomoyo, will be left alone.
The three, including Makino, who were left alone, will introduce their recommended manga and talk openly about their married life and the thoughts of wives. The producer in charge explained the intention of the project, saying, "I've heard that many voice actors read manga not only for their own hobbies, but also for study, so I thought that voice actors would be the ones who know the most interesting manga, and so I started this project. Please enjoy the voice actor x manga x married couple talk."
The October Barabara Monthly lineup will feature "Athlete Matching TV," a sports talk show hosted by athletes on Tuesdays, and "Tokyo Mono Mousu," a talk show hosted by comedy duo Sayaka and Cotton on Thursdays.
