This day marked the 55th anniversary of the first broadcast of the first series, "Kamen Rider," and Toei's video planning producer, Naomi Takebe, introduced the announcement by saying, "Usually, the title is announced around summer, but on this momentous day, as Kamen Rider celebrates its 55th anniversary, we are announcing it earlier than usual."
The English spelling of the title "Myth" is "MY-TH," which is said to carry the meaning of "myth" or "folklore." Producer Takebe explained the story by saying, "Kamen Rider Myth is the only one who becomes a beacon of hope to forge a path to the future, and eventually becomes a mythical figure."
Regarding the motif of Kamen Rider Myth, he said, "The hint is the shape of the logo. It's triangular, with a small hole in it, and it has yellow in it. Kamen Rider started with a hero who fought with the power of a grasshopper, and the latest work also has an unexpected motif." He added, "It will be a hero who fights by unleashing the strongest power from a small creature. Please look forward to the broadcast."
