The illustrations for the storage box and digital jacket for the second volume of the Blu-ray Disc (BD) and discless package for the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuX" have been released. Character designer Take designed the storage box, while animation character designer and character animation director Fumie Kobori designed the digital jacket. Animation mechanical designer and mechanical animation director Kim Se-jun illustrated the digital jacket.
The bonus drama CD will include "Side Story Episode 2: The Night Before Rebellion," written by series composer and scriptwriter Yoji Enokido. It will be the story of Machu, Dou, and friends that unfolds on the eve of Episode 7, "Machu's Rebellion." A preview video of the drama CD has been released on YouTube. Volume 2 will be released on February 25th.
Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX was also a hot topic as it was the first collaboration between Sunrise, the studio behind the Gundam series, and khara, known for the Evangelion series. Ahead of the TV anime series' broadcast, a pre-release theatrical version, Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuX -Beginning-, which reconstructed some episodes, began screening on January 17, 2025. The TV anime aired from April to June of the same year.
