The official trailer for the second chapter of the popular Gundam anime series, "Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash: Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash - The Witch of Circe," directed by Murase Shukou, has been released on YouTube. Hathaway Noah is driven to the point of despair, believing he must somehow escape from his physical body and emotional desires. Gigi Andalusia and Keria Dace each call out Hathaway's name with their own thoughts in their hearts. The contrast between the emotional turmoil of young people at the mercy of war and the heavy burden of Hathaway's fate as a Mufti is portrayed as a "youth drama shaken by the flames of war."The XI Gundam also makes an appearance.
It was also announced that the insert song will be "ENDROLL," a duet between Yohei Kawakami of the band "Alexandros" and singer SennaRin, and the insert song was revealed in the trailer.
"[Alexandros]" also sang the theme song for Chapter 1, "Flash," and Kawakami commented, "I feel honored to be able to follow Hathaway's story with these voices across two films. In "Flash," I expressed "impulse." In this film, I expressed the "fragility" that lies beyond that. I was deeply inspired by Hiroyuki Sawano's music and SennaRin's voice. I can't wait for the day when I can experience the power of this story again in the theater."

It has also been announced that the live concert "Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash THE SOUND OF UC0105" will be held at Tokyo International Forum Hall C (Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo) on March 7th and 8th, 2026. Along with a spatial presentation inspired by the worldview of the series, the concert will feature live performances of the music played in the series. Hiroyuki Sawano, who is in charge of the series' music, SennaRin, who is in charge of the insert songs, as well as Benjamin, Laco, and mpi will perform songs that add color to the story.
It was also announced that an IMAX version will be screened simultaneously from the opening day, January 30, 2026. The standard screening and IMAX version will be screened on a total of 426 screens. An IMAX visual depicting the XI Gundam was also released. The visual was created by CG director Takayuki Masuo.
"Hathaway's Flash" is based on a novel published in 1989-90 by director Yoshiyuki Tomino, known as the creator of the "Gundam" series. Set in the year 0105 of the Universal Century, Hathaway, the son of Bright Noa, who experienced a bitter separation during the Second Neo Zeon War, pilots a new mobile suit, the XI Gundam, and rises up in rebellion against the Earth Federation government.
It has been announced that the anime will be made up of three chapters, with the first chapter, released in June 2021, being a hit, grossing approximately 2.23 billion yen at the box office. The second chapter, "Circe's Witch," will be directed by Murase Shukou, who has also directed "Genocidal Organ," and will feature voice actors such as Kensho Ono as Hathaway, Reina Ueda as Gigi Andalusia, Junichi Suwabe Soma Saito as Lane Aim. The second chapter is scheduled for release on January 30, 2026.
