Takako Matsu and Takashi Okabe play a married couple in Suntory's "Akadama Premium Blended Wine" TV commercial

The "Wine Boom" TV commercial for Suntory's Akadama Premium Blended Wine (on sale September 16th), starring actors Takako Matsu and Takashi Okabe, has been released. The pair play niece and uncle in the currently airing TV drama "Shiawase na Kekkon" (TV Asahi), but in the commercial they play a married couple. The commercial depicts a warm and cozy world with their humorous, well-paced conversations around a sukiyaki pot.

Regarding her role as a married couple with Okabe, Matsu smiled and said, "I never thought we would become a married couple." The commercial director told her, "You're too lovey-dovey," to which Okabe replied, "Although it's not that many, I've had the opportunity to work with Matsu a few times, so it was reassuring to know him."

"Akadama Premium Blended Wine" is a new product from Suntory's "Akadama" brand, which has a history of 118 years, and was developed as a "wine that pairs well with Japanese food." The commercial will be broadcast nationwide from September 16th, the same day as the release date.
