Hijiri Fukumura:Former Morning Musume beauty releases two photobooks simultaneously as the last in her 20s. Waking up, taking a bubble bath, and enjoying a downpour. Returning to her roots in Vietnam.

It has been announced that former idol group Morning Musume member Fukumura Mizuki's first photobook in about two years (Wani Books) will be released on October 30th. The release date is Fukumura's 29th birthday, and it will be her last photobook in her 20s. As a culmination of her 20s, the photobook was shot in Vietnam, where she visited for the first time, and is themed around "returning to her roots - the beginning of a new journey." It includes shots of her with her bare face just waking up, frolicking in a bubble bath, and showing her strength even when hit by pouring rain. For the first time, two photobooks by Fukumura will be released at the same time: a regular edition and a limited edition. The regular and limited editions will each contain different shots.

Fukumura commented, "I wanted to leave a record of myself as a true-to-life version of myself in my last years of my 20s, so I decided to take on this challenge for the first time in two years. Also, since this photo book is being released on my 29th birthday, I'm really happy that it's the first work of the year for 'Fuku (29)'."

"This was my first time visiting Vietnam, but I actually went twice in one month. The first time, there was heavy rain for almost the entire trip due to a typhoon... I was worried about whether we could continue filming with rainwater up to our knees on the roads, but I worked hard to put together the scenes, cooperating with the staff. But that moment left a lasting impression on me, and it has become the most impactful photobook I have ever taken! And just as I had wished to shoot in Vietnam on its nice weather, the second time I was able to see the beautiful city and nature on clear skies, and I think I was able to capture a natural side of me along with the various faces of Vietnam."

"This is my last photobook in my 20s, the first time two books have been released at the same time, and my first photobook as a solo artist, so it's a special and memorable collection. I hope many people will see it," she said in a message. The regular version is B5 size and costs 3,850 yen. The limited edition is A4 size and comes with a making-of DVD (90 minutes) and an extra-large bath poster. It costs 6,820 yen.
