Actor Yuri Nakamura attended the "Tokukoi Fan Meeting Event" for the Netflix series "Anonymous Lovers" held in Tokyo on October 22nd. She delighted fans by sharing behind-the-scenes stories from the filming.
The drama follows Hana (Han Hyo-joo), a genius chocolatier who suffers from scopophobia, as she meets Soryo (Oguri), the heir to a confectionery manufacturer who is so fastidious that he can no longer even shake hands with others. The two have avoided contact with others, but for some reason, it turns out they are comfortable in each other's presence... Nakamura plays Irene, Soryo and Hana's counselor.
Irene's character is one whose relationship with Hiroshi (Akanishi Jin), Sosuke's best friend and the owner of a jazz bar whom Hana has feelings for, is also of interest, but when asked about behind-the-scenes stories, Nakamura revealed, "Hiroshi and Irene spend the night together, but in fact, we did film that scene. It was completely cut from the film." When she called out to the audience, "I'll leave that to your imagination," the audience erupted.
Director Tsukikawa Sho, who was also present at the event, tearfully revealed that he had to cut the scene, saying, "It was actually included once during editing, but it ended up being such a sexy scene that it would have been impossible to support Hana's love life... It's a shame, though."
Shun Oguri Shun and Han Hyo-joo also attended the event.
