It has been announced that the concert held by rock band GLAY at Tokyo Dome (Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo) on June 1st as the grand finale of their 30th anniversary since their debut will be broadcast and streamed exclusively on WOWOW Prime and WOWOW On Demand from 6:45 pm on September 13th.
GLAY, who celebrated their 30th anniversary since their debut in May last year, held the kickoff concert for their anniversary year, "GLAY 30th Anniversary GLAY EXPO 2024-2025," at Belluna Dome (Tokorozawa City, Saitama Prefecture) in June of the following year. GLAY EXPO has become the most important concept and year-round theme for their live events since their legendary "200,000-person concert" held in 1999.
GLAY received a special award at the 66th The Japan Record Awards in December last year. In the same month, they appeared at the 75th NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen for the first time in 25 years, performing their 1998 million-selling hit "Yūwaku."
As the final chapter of their anniversary year, the dome tour "GLAY 30th Anniversary GLAY EXPO 2024-2025 GRAND FINALE" was held at Tokyo Dome on May 31st and June 1st, and at Kyocera Dome (Nishi-ku, Osaka) on June 8th. WOWOW will broadcast and stream the second day of the Tokyo Dome performance.
