Five new TV commercials for the news app "SmartNews," starring idol group "Nogizaka46" and Goro Inagaki, including the "Appearance" version, were released on YouTube on June 17th. This is the first time that Nogizaka46 and Goro Inagaki have appeared together, and the story unfolds in a unique way in which Inagaki plays a cafe owner who is "reincarnated" into a member of Nogizaka46. The commercial uses Nogizaka46's new song "Manatsubiyo" as the tie-up song.
A behind-the-scenes video of a conversation between Nogizaka46 and Inagaki was also released. In it, there was a question, "If Inagaki Goro were to be "reincarnated" as a member of Nogizaka46, which member do you think he would be most like?"
Miku Ichinose, who appeared in the commercial, said about her impression of Inagaki, "He has a beautiful face. I get the feeling that he has a mysterious aura, but when he starts talking, he has a calm face and great variety sense." As a member who is similar to Inagaki, she named senior Yumiki Nao, saying, "He has a pretty face and is beautiful, but when he starts talking, he has a sense of words and a sense of humor that can instantly change the atmosphere of the room."
When Inagaki asked, "Yumiki-san is a natural, isn't he?", Ichinose replied with a smile, "He's a really funny guy." Inagaki replied, "Please give my best regards to (Yumiki-san) (laughs)." The commercial will be aired nationwide from June 18th.
