Goro Inagaki and the idol group Nogizaka46 appear in a new TV commercial for the news app SmartNews. Five versions of the TV commercial, including the "Appearance" version, were released on YouTube on June 17th. This is the first time that Inagaki and Nogizaka46 have appeared together.
The commercial tells a unique story in which Inagaki plays a cafe owner who is "reincarnated" into a member of Nogizaka46.
Inagaki reflected on the shoot, saying, "I was an idol in a group for a long time, and it reminded me of those times really well. Like the positioning of the formation. It felt nostalgic, although we weren't all in sync with the choreography. It was a valuable experience."
The commercial will be aired nationwide from June 18th.
