Idol group Nogizaka46 held their 13th anniversary live "13th YEAR BIRTHDAY LIVE" (hereafter referred to as "Birthday Live") at Ajinomoto Stadium (Chofu, Tokyo) on May 17th and 18th. This was Nogizaka46's first live performance since the new 6th generation members joined in February this year.
The 6th generation members, who were participating in a birthday live for the first time, appeared towards the end of the live, and on the second day they performed songs that have coloured the group's history, such as the 6th generation song "Time Limit Unrequited Love", as well as "Set Temperature" and "Guru Guru Curtain" together with their seniors.
When asked by captain Umezawa Minami about her impressions, 6th generation member Mitsuki Setoguchi commented, "It was my first live performance with our seniors so I was very nervous, but when I saw their big backs I really felt that I had become a part of Nogizaka46. The atmosphere among the fans was very warm, and I thought that this whole space was Nogizaka46. Sometimes I can't believe that I'm standing in this place like this, but I once again thought that from now on I want to be able to stand on this stage with my head held high as a member of Nogizaka46." Her comments were fresh yet confident, and she received warm applause from the fans.
