Actor Fuka Koshiba stars in the second season of NHK's BS period drama "Akinaiseiden Kin to Gin 2" (NHK BS Premium 4K, Sunday 6:45 pm). The subtitle of the sixth episode, which will be broadcast on May 11, is "An Ant's Eyes and an Osprey's Eyes," and the synopsis and scene cuts have also been released.

"Akinaiseiden Kin to Gin" is set in the mid-Edo period and depicts the common people who work hard and use their wits to succeed in business, while incorporating a variety of customs. In Season 1, which aired in 2023, the main character Sachi (Koshiba) marries Tomozo (Leo Matsumoto), the sixth-generation owner of Gosuzuya, and begins selling "Hamahabutae" from New Year's as a desperate plan to revive the struggling Gosuzuya.
Season 2 is the "Edo Edition." It begins immediately after Season 1, with Sachi and Chizo expanding the store and realizing the dream of the previous owner of Gosuzuya, to open a store in Edo, but Sachi is hit by a series of sad events.
In the sixth episode, the Edo store was bustling when it first opened, but sales began to stagnate a month later. Sachi (Koshiba) is worried about business in Edo and visits the kabuki actor Eijiro Kikuse (Kazama Morio).
Eijiro proposes to his apprentice Yoshiji (Jun Saito) a difficult task: to buy new cotton practice clothes that are easy to move in. Later, Sachi delivers a practice uniform with some special features that impress Eijiro. Then, Yoshiji's practice clothes become popular among his fellow actors.
At that moment, Kensuke (Sakuma Yu) sees Souji (Kato Shigeaki) in town... and the story unfolds.
