Shueisha's "Cobalt Bunko" light novel "Cho Series"'s "Cho Beauty and the Beast" has been adapted into a manga, titled "Cho Beauty and the Beast: I Kissed Him and He Became a Prince, so I Have to Cast a Spell Again," and began serialization on May 1st on Shueisha's manga site for girls and women, "Rima Comi+," and on the e-book distribution site, "Comic Seymour."
The "Cho Series" is a light novel by Kanan Noribara. It was published between April 1997 and 2023, and was a hit that led the golden age of Cobalt Bunko, with a total circulation of about 2 million copies, including digital versions. Princess Diamond, who was shunned because of her beauty, falls in love with a beast who lives in the Forest of Despair. The beast's magic is broken by a kiss of promise, and a beautiful prince appears... This is how the story unfolds. The manga version will be illustrated by Fumi Ooba.
To commemorate the start of the series, a review posting campaign will be held. Follow the official account of "Rima Comi +" (@rimacomi_plus) and post your review with the hashtag "#Cho Beauty and the Beast Review" to win a colored paper with a newly drawn illustration by Ohba and a signature by Norishige.
