Actor Ken Yasuda will appear on the Nippon Television variety show "Guru Guru Ninety-Nine," which will be broadcast from 8 p.m. on May 1, and will appear in the popular segment "Gochi Battle" for the first time in eight years.
Yasuda has worked with fellow Gochi member Fuka Koshiba on many occasions, including in the historical drama. She has lived on the same floor of the same apartment building as Koshiba for nearly 10 years since she was a junior high school student, and when she witnessed Koshiba becoming engrossed in something in the apartment, she revealed that she had thought, "I have to leave her alone."
On the other hand, Koshiba commented that Yasuda had an "impatient image." After filming, she would go home so quickly that she was shocked and thought, "There are people who are that early." Yasuda also confessed that she felt a sense of rivalry with Koshiba, saying, "I don't want to lose."
The setting for "Gochi Battle" is "Dancing Club Tokyo" (Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo), where you can enjoy hearty crab dishes, and the set price is 18,000 yen.
