It was announced that Haru Katsumata will be the eighth member of the fourth generation to join the idol group Sakurazaka46. The 21-year-old is from Kyoto Prefecture and is the oldest member of the fourth generation.
A vlog from Katsumata has been released on the group's official YouTube channel, "Sakurazaka Channel," in which he performs singing and playing guitar on the banks of the Kamo River. In addition, he expresses his enthusiasm, saying, "I sometimes get very anxious about whether I can contribute to the group, joining at 21 years old, but I want to think about how I can contribute to the group and tackle each step one by one."
There are a total of nine fourth-year students, with one being announced every day at noon starting from April 16th.
