Mio Imada , who plays the heroine Nobu Asada in the NHK Asadora drama "Anpan, " and Takumi Kitamura , who plays Takashi Yanai , will appear on the NHK program "Do-Suta" (General TV, Saturday 1:50 p.m.) on May 24.
The program on this day will feature " Anpan" and will be broadcast live from Kochi Prefecture, where the story is set. Imada and Kitamura will look back on memorable scenes so far, as well as talk about the highlights of the drama and behind-the-scenes episodes.
The live broadcast will be held at the Shikoku Bank Hall (large hall) of Kochi City Cultural Plaza Carport, and viewers are being invited. Questions and messages for Imada and Kitamura are also being accepted.
"Anpan" is based on the married couple Takashi Yanase(1919-2013) and Nobuyuki (1918-1993), the manga artist and picture book writer who created "Anpanman." It is a "story of love and courage" that will make you feel the joy of living, depicting how these two, who were once nobody, overcame all sorts of rough seas and arrived at "Anpanman," the embodiment of "unreversible justice."
