Ten Yamasaki and Karin Fujiyoshi from the idol group "Sakurazaka46" will appear on the cover of the June issue of the women's fashion magazine "ViVi" (Kodansha), which goes on sale on April 23rd. In a special feature titled "Tenkarin in Pink Wonderland," the two good friends will show off matching outfits in pink items, which is the trend color.
The shoot took place in an American-style house studio, and the photos include the two playing tennis in the garden, eating spaghetti, and relaxing in the bedroom. There is also an interview, and the two talk in a relaxed manner that only such good friends can have, asking questions like "What are each other's favorite music videos and performances?", "What comes to mind when you think of Tenkarin?", and "Tell us each other's secrets."
In response to the question, "What do you like about each other?" Yamasaki replied, "I guess it's the fact that he consults me about hairstyles. If I tell him I want my bangs a little shorter, he cuts them right away. He respects my opinion (heart)." Her answers show just how close the two are.
At the end of the special feature, the magazine also had a letter exchange. A "Tenkarin Special Pinup" was also included as a bound-in supplement.
The issue also features all 11 third-generation members of Sakurazaka46, showing off their unique T-shirt outfits. A special edition with a different cover will also be released, with the Korean boy band ZEROBASEONE on the cover.
