The drama series "If She Calls It Love" starring actor Chiaki Kuriyama (Yomiuri TV/Nippon TV, Thursdays 11:59pm) has released the synopsis and stills from the third episode, which will air on April 17th.
Hisame (Kentaro Ito) is confused by Ima's (Kuriyama) form of love, but struggles to accept it. One day, when Hisame is away, his mother Suzuko (Asuka Kurosawa) suddenly visits Ima's house. Suzuko is shocked by Ima's lifestyle of living with three boyfriends and criticizes her. When she finds out that Ima has a daughter, she berates her, saying, "It's a pity that a child must grow up in such an environment."
Ao (Kento Senga) tells Hisame the meaningful words, "There is a ranking of love. Ima has a number one." Hisame is plagued by doubts, "What number am I to Ima?"
Ima's daughter Chinatsu (Rina Komiyama) comforts him by saying, "Mommy is crazy about Hisame-kun," but his anxiety does not disappear. In order to dispel his doubts, Hisame comes up with a plan that he keeps secret from Ima...
Based on the novel of the same name by Ichiki Kei (Gentosha Bunko). Ima, a single mother raising a high school-aged daughter, falls in love again. The love interest is Hisame, a graduate student majoring in biology. Ima already has two boyfriends. A story that shakes up our rigid notions of normalcy.
