The first episode of Fuji TV's " Getsuku" drama "Second to Last Love 3 " (Mondays at 9pm), starring Kyoko Koizumi and Kiichi Nakai , aired on April 14th. The script was written by Yoshikazu Okada, who also wrote the first and second seasons. This work depicts the story 11 years after the second season. The theme song will be sung by Ayumi Hamasaki, who also wrote the first and second seasons.
Yoshino Chiaki (Koizumi) is 59 years old, and Nagakura Wahei (Nakai) is 63 years old and has passed retirement age. One morning, when Chiaki goes to the Nagakura house, Wahei asks about the daily calendar, "Did you do that this morning?" Chiaki says, "Thanks to you, I was able to do it this morning. It was the morning of my 60th birthday, my 354th day until retirement!" Wahei responds, "You don't have to say it like that."
The daily calendar counted the number of days until Chiaki's 60th birthday and retirement. Wahei, who had been unable to prepare himself for retirement, gave it to Chiaki, saying, "It's important to see how many days you have left," and that he didn't want Chiaki to have the same regrets as him.
Chiaki said with a smile, "Thanks to that, I was able to do it this morning too, and when I'm putting on makeup, I can't help but see that number. When that happens, it makes me feel a little depressed. I'm actually quite positive about getting older. The other day at the hairdresser, I asked them to give me a cool hairstyle that makes use of my grey hair. But when that limit is visualized in concrete numbers, for me, it just makes me feel depressed. My foundation gets thicker and thicker, and I start to wonder if the thickness of my eyeliner is okay. I wake up like that every day."
Wahei, who had been listening, pointed out the hairstyle, saying, "Hey, hey, I have a question. Was this on purpose?" He then said, "I thought maybe you forgot to put on makeup. I'm always at a loss as to what to say," irritating Chiaki.
