To celebrate the 45th anniversary of the popular anime series "Gundam," a T-shirt in collaboration with Uniqlo's T-shirt brand "UT" called "Mobile Suit Gundam 45th Anniversary UT" will be released on April 14th. The designs include illustrations drawn by mechanical designer Kunio Okawara, as well as illustrations from "Mobile Suit Gundam," "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED," and "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury." Each is priced at 1,990 yen.
The "Witch of Mercury" T-shirts feature Gundam Aerial (modified), Suletta Mercury, and Miorine Rembrandt designs. The lineup also includes T-shirts with designs based on the motifs of "SEED", "SEED DESTINY", and "SEED FREEDOM".
T-shirts will also be released featuring a design of Gundam, Guncannon, and Guntank lined up against the background of Okawara's Char's Zaku, as well as Gundam, Z Gundam, God Gundam, Wing Gundam Zero, Turn A Gundam, Freedom Gundam, Unicorn Gundam (Destroid Mode), and Justice Gundam, all drawn by Okawara.
An AR project has also been launched in conjunction with the release of the T-shirts.
