A new series of the popular NHK variety show "Bura Tamori" (General TV, Saturdays 7:30 p.m.), in which the entertainer Tamori visits various towns, will begin on April 5th.
In April, the program will be "A Journey to Ise Shrine." On the 5th, the first night, the program will unravel the meaning of the torii gates at the wharf in Kuwana and enjoy traditional grilled clams. Furthermore, Tamori is excited to discover a three-way intersection in "Hinaga no Oiwake" (Yokkaichi). In "Kobe no Finding" (Suzuka), the program will uncover traces of a wooden gate, and delve into the unknown history of the town and the lives of its people.
Tamori's travel partner will be NHK Hiroshima announcer Mana Sato, and the narration will be provided by singer-songwriter Aimyon.
