The Nu Gundam figure "METAL STRUCTURE Kaitai Takumi RX-93 Nu Gundam" (Bandai Spirits) and the Sazabi figure "METAL STRUCTURE Kaitai Takumi MSN-04 Sazabi" (same company) from the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack" are on display at the "GUNDAM FIGURE EXHIBITION," an event displaying figures from the "Gundam" series, currently being held at TAMASHII NATIONS STORE TOKYO in Akihabara, Tokyo.
"METAL STRUCTURE Kaitai Takumi RX-93 Nu Gundam" is a figure from the premium brand "METAL STRUCTURE Kaitai Takumi". As the name "Kaitai Takumi" suggests, the Nu Gundam was disassembled into a "real thing" down to each individual part, and then reconstructed into a figure. It is made up of approximately 2000 parts and stands approximately 37cm tall.
"METAL STRUCTURE Kaitai Takumi MSN-04 Sazabi" is made up of several thousand parts made of composite materials, and aims to have a texture similar to the real thing, with armor deployment gimmicks on each part and a gimmick that transforms in stages. The main body and pedestal are equipped with light-up gimmicks. Although both are expensive, they are popular products that "sold out immediately," and there are many who want them to be re-released.
The event will run until September 8th.
