All nine episodes of the web short drama "First Wind's Miracle," starring former "Nogizaka46" and actor Hina Higuchi, were released on the Suzuki Domestic Motorcycle Official YouTube Channel on March 21. Higuchi, who holds a regular motorcycle license, shows off riding Suzuki's "V-STROM250SX" motorcycle.
The drama tells the story of a university student, Sakina (Higuchi), who is struggling with job hunting and can't find what she wants to do, who meets Kaede (Minori Taira), a woman who dreams of traveling around the world on a motorcycle, and begins to reexamine herself and grow as a person.
Higuchi commented, "Ever since I got my motorcycle license, I've always wanted to work in a job that involves riding motorcycles, so being able to work on Suzuki's short drama this time has made that dream come true and I was excited throughout the filming period."
Looking back on the shoot, she said, "This time I rode a V-STROM250SX, and it was very easy to ride and not scary at all. Even as a beginner, I found it very easy to ride, and I felt that it was a bike that gave me confidence. The bike I rode was red in color, and what was attractive about it was that the bike stood out so well against the scenery, even when photographed from a distance with a drone. When I go on a trip, I definitely want to take photos with my bike."
She also appealed, "The character I played, Sakina, doesn't know what she wants to do and is always looking down and worried, but I hope you will enjoy this short drama to see how she grows after she meets a motorcycle."
Behind-the-scenes footage of the drama's filming and an interview with Higuchi were also released on YouTube.
