The final episode of the TBS Sunday Theatre drama " Mikami Sensei " (Sunday 9pm) starring actor Tori Matsuzaka 's Class 3-2 have been facing and "thinking" about various issues together with Mikami (Matsuzaka). In the run up to the final episode, we will be introducing the "graduation messages" of all the students in order of their attendance numbers. The second installment will feature six students: Oguri Amane ( Seira Anzai), Toda Sachiko (Sumire Hanaoka), Kagawa Daiki (Shuto Imai), Kanamori Ema (Hinari Serizawa), Kawashima Keisuke (Kazuki Fujimoto), and Kanzaki Takuto (Daiken Okudaira).
The drama is an original "great reversal story of education revival" in which Takashi Mikami (played by Matsuzaka), a bureaucrat in the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, who wants to change the Japanese education system, takes to the podium at a private high school and stands up to authority while guiding 18-year-old high school students living in the Reiwa era.

Mikami Sensei's theme has been "The personal is political," and I hope you will be able to see each student think for themselves and take flight toward that goal. There are many memorable scenes, but the scene where Mikami Sensei talks about his past is particularly memorable. That scene was full of mixed emotions, and even though I was on the receiving end, it's a scene that has stayed with me a lot. And, changing the subject a bit, I want you to look back at the ending of the first episode. It's the ending where all the plot twists are resolved. It may sound simple, but it's scary to think about what it would have been like if I had never met Mikami Sensei, let alone this Sunday Theatre. He is such a big presence in my life. I hope I can meet Mikami Sensei again...
◇Sachiko Onda (Sachiko Onda) / Sumire Hanaoka
Thank you to everyone who has enjoyed "Mikami Sensei" so far. There are 10 episodes in total, but each one is packed with content, so it feels like 50 episodes...or so I hope you will join us in watching this culmination of the story that has been so delicately built up so far. The scene in episode 6 where Mikami Sensei talks about his past is connected to the meaning of the drama's existence, and it was a very memorable moment for both Toda and Hanaoka. The three months I spent in the classroom as Mikami Sensei, Tori Matsuzaka's student, were an exciting and growth-filled time comparable to three years of school life. "From now on, I will never look away. I promise." I don't think I will ever forget the sound of these words. Thank you!
◇Daiki Kagawa (Kagawa Daiki) / Shuto Imai
The story's main focus was recognized before filming began, and each cast member lived their role, so it felt more like shooting a 10-hour movie than a drama. Episodes 1 to 9 were meticulously calculated, and I want everyone to rewatch every scene. In the final episode, pay attention to the expressions of the 29 students who have taken Mikami Sensei's words to heart and grown. It was because of Okami's consistent attitude of "thinking" that the students were able to think for themselves, understand others, and take it as their own. I feel like I have learned the true essence of "kindness" and "love" by meeting Okami. Thank you, Okami. Kagawa Daiki.
◇Ema Kanamori (Kanamori Ema) / Hinari Serizawa
As a woman, I really loved the 7th episode, Shiiba (Haruno), because it was so painful. In particular, the scene where Shiiba confronts the students and confesses the situation up to now... It was painful even in the script, but with Sakura (Yoshiyanagi)'s acting, it became a wonderful and amazing scene. I would like everyone to rewatch it and think about it. Please watch how Shiiba, as well as the other students and adults around them, have grown towards the final episode, and what they thought and acted on. Thank you so much, Mikami Sensei Mikami, for always watching over everyone with a smile on your face! When you greeted or talked to the students, you always made eye contact and listened carefully, which was impressive. It was only a few months, but Mikami Sensei is a teacher I really love.
◇Keisuke Kawashima / Kazuki Fujimoto
The hidden truth behind why Mikami Sensei came to Rintoku Academy, and will the students be able to graduate safely? All the stories up to now will be connected and the whole picture will be revealed. Whether reading the script, acting on the set, or watching the video, the quality of each episode is high, and I am grateful to be involved in such an amazing work. I would be happy if you could pay attention to the words spoken by all the characters, the meaning of the lines, the way the students' attitudes change when Mikami Sensei's past is revealed in episode 6, and the acting of all 29 students. I learned a lot from Mikami Sensei over these past three months. The last words I received from Mr. Matsuzaka were, "Be humble and grateful without being arrogant, and take care of others." This has become my important motto. I am happy to have met Mr. Tori Matsuzaka. "Mikami Sensei, Class 3-2" is a lifelong treasure.
◇Takuto Kanzaki and Daiken Okudaira
From the beginning to the end, I always think it was fast but also slow, but when I think about it, it felt long. I think that's how much thought went into it. Anyway, I'm very grateful to the two teachers for leading us students for about three months. Seeing them talking harmoniously with the cast was like a teacher and a senior actor, and it was very stimulating. It was a filming site that made me want to work hard so that I can work with them again when I'm a little more grown up. Thank you very much.
