It has been announced that the popular episode series "Fuurinkazan", which is the origin of the Gosho Aoyama Prefectural Police Group that appears in the TV anime "Detective Conan" (Yomiuri TV/Nippon TV, Saturday 6pm), based on the popular manga by Gosho Aoyama, will be broadcast for three consecutive weeks starting from March 22nd. The "Fuurinkazan" series will be broadcast because Yamato Gansuke, Uehara Yui, and Morofushi Takaaki of the Nagano Prefectural Police appear as characters who hold important keys in the latest movie "Detective Conan: One-Eyed Flashback of the One-Eyed", which will be released on April 18th.
"Fuurinkazan: Armored Warrior of the Labyrinth Vol. 1," in which the one-eyed detective Yamato Gansuke makes his first appearance in the anime, will be broadcast on March 22nd, followed by "Fuurinkazan: Armored Warrior of the Labyrinth Vol. 2" on March 29th, and "Fuurinkazan: Shadow and Lightning Showdown" on April 5th. Conan, Kogoro, Heiji, and Yamato Gansuke take on the mystery of a series of murders that took place in Nagano Prefecture, modeled after Fuurinkazan. This episode will reveal the backgrounds of Yamato Gansuke and Uehara Yui, as well as a relationship that hints at an adult romance. Takaaki, who is not supposed to appear in "Fuurinkazan," is also said to make an appearance somewhere.
Prior to the broadcast of "Furinkazan: Meikyuu no Yoroimusha Ichi", an original video supervised by the original author Aoyama, "Nagano Prefectural Police Team's Secret Stories", will be streamed on YouTube for four consecutive days starting at 7pm on March 18th. There are four different videos in total, and in the first episode, "Yamato Gansuke Edition", Uehara Yui and Morofushi Takaaki talk about Yamato Gansuke. Yui is shown becoming embarrassed when asked about her relationship with Gansuke. It will be streamed at 7pm each day.
The latest movie, "Afterimage of One Eye," is set in the snowy mountains of Nagano Prefecture, and depicts the "sleeping memory" that connects two seemingly unrelated people, Kogoro, who is asleep, and Gansuke, a Nagano Prefectural Police officer. While Gansuke is chasing a "certain man" in the snowy mountains, a bullet grazes his left eye and he is caught in an avalanche. Ten months later, Gansuke miraculously survives and receives a report that a researcher at Nobeyama Observatory has been attacked by someone, and rushes to the scene, but as soon as the observatory's parabolic antenna starts moving, his left eye, which has become one-eyed, suddenly begins to tingle. Kogoro and Conan have arranged to meet a former colleague from the Metropolitan Police Department who is investigating the avalanche accident, but on their way to the meeting place, a gunshot rings out.
